Services we can offer you!
We can offer you a nation-wide relocation service when moving house. Dismantling and moving your waterbed to a new home, taking the worry of damaging the mattress off your hands. With connections all over the UK we can also put you in touch with your local waterbed installer/specialist if required.
Moved It Yourself (and now have a bag with a lump in the middle)?
Many people will attempt to move a waterbed themselves for whatever reason, but various precautions must be taken when draing the mattress. Once the mattress is empty, it MUST be vacuumed so that the fibres inside do no move, then the mattress can be folded or rolled without all the fibres ending up in the middle of the bed when refilled. If you have experienced this or are worried this may happen, then give us a call. We can offer a full or part moving service, and if there is a large mound in the middle of the bed, we can try and straighten the fibres back out again.
Waterbed accessories can be mailed direct to you. Replacement heaters, waterbed mattresses and safety liners, waterbed conditioner, vinyl cleaner, mattress protectors and fitted sheets in over 20 different colours are all available by mail order.
After Sales and Warranties...
Nearly all our waterbeds supplied come with a five year manufacturers warranty against premature failure or manufacturing faults to the 'seams, corners and filler necks'. Providing we have a full service history while the bed is in warranty, we will endeavour to carry out any repairs within 48 hours (where possible) should the need ever arise. A service charge will ONLY be made to cover the cost of mileage and fuel costs.
Where NO service history is available, a full service charge will apply covering the cost of labour/time.
Service reminders are sent annually in the month your waterbed was installed. If no response is made, the reminders will stop after two years.
Although we are based in East Anglia and primarily service Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Northants, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and the Midlands, our customer network has expanded over the last 20 years. We regularly travel to London and the home counties, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
We have also been recommended to customers as far afield as Cumbria, and Northumberland in the North, the Isle of Wight, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwell in the south. This is mainly due to Isle of Ely Waterbeds being independent with no ties to any particular manufacturer, offering a very comprehensive and versatile range of waterbed.
Therefore we have the flexibility to piece together any combination to achieve your style and specification where possible, backed up by our personal service and after care.
